This cute little On30 loco is a kit bash.  We started with an HO 3-truck, 80 ton shay and the Boulder Valley Models "Silver City Sidewinder" resin kit.  We also did a gear upgrade that is offered by NWSL for this loco, consisting of replacing the small gears that split with metal gears.

We did our best to make her look worn and weary.  This is my favorite loco, because it really runs nicely on sharp curves and at top speed it is still slow.

We can build one of these for you too.  We offer building this for $100 labor, not including gear replacement. 

We can replace your gears for $25 labor.  These really run sweet with the gear change.
