Professional Model Building Service

Located in Washougal Washington, Creative Model Services is Jack Martin.  He has always lived for modeling, and has been modeling since he was three-years-old, way back in 1955 (he had some help from his Dad back then).  In his 50+ years of modeling, he has always marveled at the skills of museum modelers, contest winning modelers, miniature models that really function, and dioramas.  Over the years he has worked in multiple mediums to achieve, at times, museum quality models.

One of his greatest works of love has been a scratch built model of the USS Constitution, compiled of over 11,600 hours of accumulated hands-on time in a decade time span.  This resulted in a museum quality model, built scale to the year 1813, at a scale of 1/8" equal to a foot.

Seeing flying model aircraft that looks real has always made him stop and look.  He has spent the last decade modeling radio control helicopters and airplanes.  As an avid modeler, and a fair pilot, there comes a point where building is the joy, but the garage only holds so much.  Building, painting, repairing, etc. for others, fulfills the needs of others, himself, and keeps the garage with a little storage space.

Being an RC modeler has the risk of damage, of which he has had his share.  Plenty in fact, enough to give him experience repairing models, especially fiberglass.

Jack is also an AMA Contest Director and Turbine waiver CD/rotary wing holder under the auspicies of the AMA.
